Hi, dear all, finally a new blog entry for you all! sorry for the MIA for such a long time, however, some of this blog entry will be in relation to reply some of the readers' questions

Debbie: No, I don't work for the RMK counter in the Birmingham, it is the Trafford Centre RMK that I work for. And yes, Dusty Bright Eyes collection is great but I am personally more looking forward for the Sparkling Spring Summer collection from RMK, especially the blusher that I already laid my hands on!

And dear others: Thanks for replying to my blog entry in relation to my interpretation of dress code at work, I hope you guys will continue to stay tuned with my updates

So far, I've been working for Selfridges from June 2011, and so now, it makes almost 8 months that I've worked for RMK in Selfridges. I would describe where I work is fun and being surrounded by others who are down-to-earth and always looking out for me (except for a few odd ones out, but you do get people like that everywhere)

This was when I first started in the summer on the early shift when my neighbor counters first noticed my no lenses glasses, well people still ask about it really...

OK, ladies! that's what my counter looks like, but the product displays change from time to time because of the new season products launching, but the foundation would stay where they are. Good job I cleaned the counter before I finished work that day I decided to take this pic, hahaha!

I don't often take pics in the staff canteen of myself, but I found my favourite food in the staff canteen since working in Selfridges with the place I take lunch there the most:

Yogurts-why?- Allow me to complain about the days with really crap food or the days I work with menus in the canteen that I don't like... Yogurts can be the best ever, its the either the strawberry flavour or the Greek yogurt... however the greek yogurt in this pic of this blog entry hasnt appeared for a long time, and it's the honey and banana flavor yogurt that I am always havin recently

Friends I meet:

There are so many of you that I meet are so nice to me and you guys are the reason why I enjoy my job! OK, starting with Gemma as we both catch the same bus together and walk the same way home. There's still alot between us to find out and to get to know each other as she works upstairs and I work on downstairs that she might be as close as those who work on the neighbor counters of mine, well, I don't go on about her so much, but mainly it's my boyfriend who hears about her most...

Aysha-An Indo-Chinese girl who does come to work at my counter once in a while, she used to be agency staff... but congradulations recently for the contract with Suqqu in town, and it's fun working with her though we do tell each other jokes that are so shocking between us.... This pic was taken on a day off for me and I was just touring around after the renovation of the Selfridges near home. (the one I work for is a 40 mins bus away from my home)

There's more people I met like Rensan (my eye candy), Eva (an absolute cute girl from Muji), Sammy (nice guy, nice body), all the ladies from Nars and Clarins (there are more than 4 of u to mention there, so cut it short and leave the names), Lisa from Illamasqua and Amanda from Laura Mercier are all my lovelies. Mainly I got to mention you all cuz of being the closest to my counter and being nice to me, and for the sake of continuing to make you all happy, I will continue to share sweets and candies at work, if any of u wanna try any new flavours, I will check it out and bring it in. (Haha, I guess I haven't made the wrong user name as a blogger and a youtube user: sweetkuromi-Kuromi-the girl who always has candies in her pocket)

There are some of you who been there through my rough times and it's like I am definitely getting to know some of you on a deep dish level. However, though I still haven't got the chance to take a pic with some of u, I will still metion u guys in particular. But start off the ones with photos ;)

Queena: The first one I HAVE TO mention for sure- she's my counter manager and also like my older sister since day 1 I started working for RMK, it's only the fact that we work on the same counter for that deep dish communication to start, but she's the one who made my working life like a home to me. She's been the first hand listener to my problems and helped me through rough times.... Thanks for the call at the counter and the time to talk while u were taking ur holiday just to make sure I will be ok. I hope I can continue to contribute to RMK team with team work in harmony and u guys are always appreciated by me and will always be there count on.

Alex: Sorry no proper pic of u without the Halloween makeup on... missed the chance to take the pic with u last time u done my hair. Alex also works the next door counter to mine, and yes, we catch the same bus home together. Though not everything we could talk in a deep dish conversation but thanks for ur support to my bad days when Queena's not around.

Review on my Lingerie Haul

Moment of Fashion:

This will be my first time ever that I have ever done such update to share lingerie pieces that I bought, however, it would be impossible to upload photos of myself in underwear, so these photos would likely to be just what they look like on models and which are the pieces I bought.

The shop I got my lingeries from is Ann Summers, and the way I pick my undies are by the design and effectiveness.

This first set is the Cocquette Black Pink set- What I like about the set of lingerie is the fact that the balconette bra really gives out the body curve I want to achieve with the greatest comfort ever and the skirt design knickers look cute, however the only disadvantage for this set is that as it's a skirt, so, wearing a pear of skinny jeans or wearing tights over it would take somehow a longer time to make it neat (LOL).

I only recently bought this set of lingerie, the OMG boost underwear set which was picked by my boyfriend. My boyfriend's reason for picking this set is nothing pervy but in what he picks to be the best looking pattern and design he sees in the shop. But yeh, he picked this right set as wearing this boost set gives the cleavage line that I would never have naturally (Hmm, yeh, all u need to know is that I don't have much boobs, so size wise, don't ask). I have no complaints about this set of lingerie as the bottom would be something that I normally wear.

Well, not sure if there will be a 2nd chance of blogging about reviews on lingerie hauls in the future, but please do leave me a comment and let me know if this is a good new kind of blogging to go on here as long as u feel this is also closely related to beauty and fashion blogging, my working life blogging will soon be be completed, please stay tuned and enjoy my past blogging entries if u have missed any.

As I've promised to show a blog entry/video based on the dress code at work as I work for the RMK the Japanese cosmetic brand in Selfridges and the department store Selfridges do not have uniform for certain counters, I thought this blog entry would be interesting since the dress code at work mentioned that
MUSTs
-Wear black
-Dress to impress
-Wear name badge (but I don't show people videos with my name badge on clothes I wear tho)

MUST NOTs
-Jeans
-UGGs
-Sneakers
-Opened toe shoes

And also, from my boyfriend's eyes, black from top to bottom would make every outfit boring, so what do I do? Prove him wrong and show him that looking for clothes to work is a fun challenge and of course, something I believe that keep viewers' eyes open. This is gonna be a quick entry and some fundamental ideas of what I wear to work as the video is still filming and editting in progress.

A dress I picked from asos, there are actually 2 ways wearing it which is by making the straps off shoulder, it's not the best dress, but I thought showing it due to the fact that this dress has a good unique design.

Well another dress that enhances some curve that Ive got... And of course more will be seen in the video, so stay tuned! Hope these outfits will keep all your eyes opened until then!

Oh... and lastly, a name badge is a must with the outfit when u work in the dep store counters!

Lol, I have more than one eye candy besides Sam... There are 2 (one's a half Filipino Spanish mixed race and this Filipino guy that works in Gucci!!) that I am actually waiting for the chance to take pictures with... Between 12th-14th Dec, my boyfriend and I went to London for his birthday trip, it was nice to meet my long time no see best friend LaiYeng again, though she's still that same shy girl I met from day 1, she's still that girly I confide in closely and alot in common... Well, other than that, my boyfriend booked the Japanese salon for a haircut, he asked me if I would like to try the Japanese hairstylist's creativity... it took abit of hesitation, but in the end... I finally had it cut.... and it's been 2 weeks I had my haircut, but Im still not used it!! :(

This is the haircut that I found from the Japanese magazine that I like, but I can never do the same as hers :(

Well, it would basically depends on if it's good OR bad hair day to make me like my hair or not... unlike the days I have long hair that's easier to fix by a straightener, as the straightener made me look more like an aunty after using it occasiocally :(

OOTD highlights in December (Part 2) & Moment of Life

This outfit of the day on the Dec 2011 Part 2 will only be highlighting on just one outfit for the time being as this update is not only going to be based on fashion alone but also mentioning abit of something that touches my heart from the party... OK, first thing first, what I wore on the party with the beauty department of the department store (Selfridges) I work for:

After I finished filming the video for this outfit of the day, I would leave home with something warm on myself ;)

During dressing up for the night, I was trying really hard on setting this hairdo that my hairdresser in Hong Kong did for me on the count down for Year 2007... but of course... from what you can see for 11th Dec 2011... It was a major fail :(

For the rest of night, I really didn't get to take loads of pictures, but well... here's some to keep everyone's eyes opened and hopefully to keep you guys all staying tuned

Moment of Life: Like I said, not everything in my blog is always based on beauty blogging, sometimes, talking from experience to viewers... or to share my feelings in the category on moment of life...Basically for the night I was drinking (well, in between not alot and alot), and I wasn't too drunk to do anything silly but I wasn't in a sober status enough to reassure everyone my safety home....

I promised my boyfriend for the night that I would be going home anytime before 1am as we were to go to London the next day, plus, he didn't want me to go to the drinking party at all that I would and I should give him every benefit he deserves... in fact, also the trust....

As soon as one of the guys Shane said he was thinking of going elsewhere for the night, we left Tribeca together, and I was about to walk home alone like I usually do after getting off the bus from work in the town centre, Shane showed his disagreement on what I was doing and insisted picking options on either following him to the next place for a drink OR allow him to lend me the taxi money as there was no ATMs nearby.

The result: Of course I got home safe, and that I need to find the most perfect timing to pay him back the taxi money I owed him. In case viewers and bloggers asked why I can't return him money while we were on duty at counters, reason is cuz of the staff regulation with staff's personal money and belongings at the counter. (I don't think people would be interested in hearing all the policies, LOL)

Overall from this blog entry, besides just talking about fashion and makeup, I would also like to share my appreciation to Shane for being one of the nicest guys I met at work and also his effort in making sure my safety back home after the party... Thank you so much!

OOTD highlights in December (Part 1)

Well, December will the busiest time of year of Selfridges, so much to look forward to and yet, so much to do... however, with blogging, I decided to make December the one for highlighting some outfits for viewers and readers on outfits, so here comes part one about some special outfit I wore for work and parties...
and of course enjoy the videos too!

OOTD 2nd Dec- Dinner with RMK Colleagues & Selfridges Party at TigerTiger
Thanks for those who had been putting in suggestion on which dress to pick for the dinner and party, however, in the end I looked back on the first dress I spotted on asos and decided that it's the one I should go for, hope you guys still like what I picked as a verdict (dress ordered from asos)

This cardigan is honestly mega warm... but dont know I sneezed like 4 times in one minute while I was waiting for Lin outside tigertiger... sounded like I do feel unwell for that moment, LOL (PS. I had long coat on as well)

As I mentioned some frustrated moment with the day, apart from the not workin ATMs that's been pissing off.... well, guess what?! I promised my boyfriend a Mcdonald's to take home for him, I was lining up at the nearest Mcdonalds between our home and the thai restaurant... well, the lady in front of me took forever to order, and by the time it was my turn, people on the side jumped in... and of course I was already there before her, she didn't even ask if I was in the queue but butts in straight away... I kind of got annoyed with waiting, and no one was serving, it just kind of got to me that I have to say something to that bitch who butts in the queue... and all she said was "Sorry, I didn't see you there!"...... Unbelievable! In the end, my boyfriend complains about my time management... but he never showed one bit of agreeing with my feelings, grrrr.....

OOTD on 25th, 26th Nov, AND 1st, 2nd Dec

The first outfit was already out on my youtube channel about what I wore for different events that I participated for December 11. This outfit was being picked by my manager for the whole counter to wear since the Christmas Comes Early event ran between 23rd-27th Dec 2011 as we were set as Christmas theme for any event we run... Hope u guys like it, but I certainly liked what my manager picked... at first, I wasnt very confident in wearing the dress, but after showing my boyfriend the dress, it turned out that he likes it which makes me like the dress even more

Fashion tips wanted, thank you!

This fashion blog will be based on my deep down questions on mix and match... and stressed about what to get for the upcoming arranged Xmas dinner with my 3 colleagues who work on the RMK counter together. Why stressed? Because I've been finding it hard to stay away from the black when none of these items are for the purpose of working at all!

Question 1) Wine Chiffon Kimono top

I recently exchanged the yellow skirt back to the Jane Norman shop for this top, it's a colour that I have never laid my hands on... as I already have a blue top that looks so similar, though the description gave the tips that I should go with super skinny jeans, well guess what? The skinny jeans I have in the wardrobe just don't go at all! Please someone tell me, what colour is likely to go best with this top and I would appreciate if there's any link of an item or the appropriate type of trousers to match it

Question 2) Metallic Jeans (my recent most wanted)

I had a try on these jeans first for my size and the opinion from my boyfriend if I should buy it or not, the outcome is my boyfriend said these jeans are not bad, but seeing me wearing the kimono top (item above), the colours honestly don't marry at all (even I agree and honestly feel both wine tone and metallic jeans together honestly look not flattering at all), my boyfriend couldn't think of anything but black top, white top... Reason for being most wanted: the colour is simply special!

Again, any suggestion would be appreciated.

Question 3: My dearest manager just announced that the 4 of us from the RMK (Me, manager and the other 2 colleagues) will get together to dine and exchange presents during a meal out together, she suggested that we all should dress nice for the night (we are still deciding which restaurant to dine out)... I am trying to decide between these dresses of which to wear for the night, here we go!

Dress 1 Reason: I just love the design of this dress how it will help to look slimmer by the concentrating the all the creased design on the centre

Disadvantage: Revealing the bra buckles :(

Dress 2 Reason: I just simply love the colour! This purple is the tone that I love and the material makes the dress simple and classy

Dress 3 Reason: Contrast colors of the dress

Dress 4 Reason: I love the colour, the combination of black silk/chiffon covering another colour make the dress a unique colour.

Disadvantage: Concern it might look fat on me :(

Dress 5: The turquoise colour is not too exaggerating, but most importanly, it's the end of the dress that makes me fall in love with it

Disadvantage: Revealing bra buckles when I have the same concern with nude bra not being supportive to stand out my boobs more :P (need some cleavelage if I decide I pick dress 1 & dress 5)

Belated OOTD for 13th Oct 2011 (event for work)

Before deciding to order the outfit I was wearing for the Beauty Event at work, I was actually stressed about which dress to wear as it just kept me wondering if it should be "Black and Pink" or fully pink. There was a vote between the 2 here

This is the dress that the majority voted... and it seemed to be the one that suits me better...

But this is the one that my boyfriend prefers... I love it, but I would only order it if I decide to wear itfor party purposes....

Anyway, so far I really don't regret ordering the dress as the design with the pussybow neck n the puffy end of the dress made it all unique...

I've also mentioned in my video that I didn't film the video before I start working as I was running late for work as I didn't have a good night sleep (all thanks to my flight attendant interview friend Paula's accident calls for nothing), I totally overslept and forgot that I had one eye with and without false lashes (Eeek!)

Thanks for those who paid compliaments to me for wearing this dress and those who decided that I should order this dress, and I promise it's going to be the dress I will wear more than this one time...

And obviously... I had NO time to iron my dress before wearing it or showing the video... but I hope my impression of grooming had not yet been ruined?! LOL... But I'm still being a good girl obeying the rules of not wearing UGGs, sneakers or open-toed shoes in the operation hours I work in the dep store... Other dress code restriction: No wearing jeans-and black is a must though no one has uniform to wear... Hopefully I can find the time to film a video of a collection of outfits I wear and to show how I manage to show my unique ideas and obeying the dress code at work... Please let me know if this video will be worth looking forward to :)

RMK Dusty Bright Eyes Tutorial (video) & Reviews on blog

The A/W collection 2011 of RMK: First introduction would be the Dusty Bright Eyes eyeshadow cream: When I first started my job at RMK, I went to the makeup training for the eyeshadow that will launch at counter and since I still haven't sent my stuff to Gwen, I asked if she wanted anything from RMK as I was telling her about this new collection of eyeshadows.... They are one of the best things to get your BFF or someone who loves makeup as

1) These cream eyeshadows are waterproof that will suit those who has concerns with oily eyelid creases

2) Very easy to apply as the packaging comes with a brush of 2 ends

3) The eyeshadow stays on until you decide to remove it by makeup remover

As I personally don't own all 6 colors, I took the leaflet from the counter to show bloggers and viewers which are the exact 6 colours that are launching of the new collection

Was filming the video of color 02- and that day I was wearing the white nail polish along (exactly being inspired by the model for this collection)... and way before my current haircut too

This photo was taken during the Day 1 the eyeshadows were launching at our counter... and also before my haircut back then...

Well, this is the pink I use... and the cream side will soon be used up soon!

Blushers:

Out of the 3 colours, I picked the orange as I don;t have any orange blusher in my collection.

False lashes: for both looks, I used 01 for the upper lashes and 06 as the lower lashes. I finally know how to apply false lashes on the lower part... Hope my video does give a good explanation of it

Nail polish wise-I picked the green and the white in the middle, but in fact, I do regret picking the white as I start to fall in love with the purple.

the 2 colors that I've got-the reason I picked these 2 colours cuz they are limited editions.... the beige tends to be more of my color... but both of them are real pretty colours...

My favourite products from this Autumn/Winter collection are the Dusty Bright Eyes Deep Pink and the lower lashes 06 as the Deep Red (Pink and Red together) is so light that even when I feel I have small eyes that this combination tends to enhance elegance of my eyes. Then as for the lower lashes, why? Cuz I simply need lower lashes to define my eyes much better...

Apologies to all of you who been wondering where I been after the last entry with the Slut Walk, however, I really appreciate those comments from you very deeply as I sensed the acknowledgement from some of you about dress code shouldn't be used as an excuse to not keeping it in the men's pants...

OK, first of all, my very recent update during my MIA is that I have started working for the RMK counter since end of June and it's right now my 2nd month, so fingers crossed in passing probation next month as I been enjoying the job so much.... and people in the dep store are nice in general that I love them all and customers too!

Now that I have a video ready to upload based on the makeup look of Twiggy and the fashion tribute of Audrey Hepburn to wish Christine my friend Happy 21st Birthday.... I have spent months doing the research mainly on fashion and spent the budget for this Summer to look for the items to create a few sets of outfit to improvise my ideas to you all and Christine...

I recently fell in love with pussybow top and cropped pants... sometimes, trousers don't have to be full length to be "smart" for those who are students or office ladies....

1) trench coat (ready for Autumn/Winter, I am not doing any shopping for Autumn/Winter until next month)

Slutwalk-Thoughts?! Huge Impact to ALL WOMEN in the world!

Something in the world that affects "self-respect", "beauty", "fashion" and every woman in the world!

A while ago, I have read from a fashion magazine about the "SlutWalk" and have a big interest in participating, however I was really unaware of the SlutWalk that will run on my town until I went out to the sushi-bar while seeing all the ladies started the SlutWalk already :(

For those who may not know what the Slutwalk is about: It's a demonstration to raise awareness of rapist walking free because of using "sexy clothing on the victim" as a type of provocation to sexual assaults. It's also the demonstration to show how much everyone in the world want to change the criminal justice system that's going to be fairer on the victims.

Personal thoughts: Everyone may say I'm probably another girl who just says things and do things that will protect the interests of the same sex, well, it's NOT only this major factor that it would raise my passion in joining the demonstration, however with the way I dress, I always have loved to dress sexy, enhancing the best features of my body and seeing the unique design and details in a sexy item... but I hope my love of fashion won't ever make myself a rape victim or ended up with hearing the statement "She seduced me to rape her because of her slutty dress".... (I'm sure all girls who love to enhance their own beauty and best body features would love to be reassured that they are safe to be wear whatever they wish without feeling disturbed or put off just because some men think sexy clothing on women give them the excuses to hurt people in every way)

Not only the fashion aspect, think of the rape victims who were mentally affected, it was only some years ago, I read a magazine about a 16 year old girl who committed suicide as the verdict was the rapist can walk free after raping her because of her G-string had "Horny Devil" written on it that was stated as provocation to sexual assault...

And last of all but not the least, no girl in the world would ever want to be a raped victim no matter what.... and sluts should not be defined by dressing sense of a female individual....

I'm open to hear your opinions...

1st June/2nd June- I've been waiting for this day fairly long as I have always been missing one of my closest friend Teresa... we both known each other for 7 years, just as long as the time she witnessed the relationship of me and my boyfriend. Teresa stayed overnight at our apartment as well as with her friend Angel along. For the day, my boyfriend and I took Teresa to eat english full breakfast as soon as she has arrived at our town from her 4 hours coach journey all the way from London. After we took breakfast, we took her back to our apartment and waited for the arrival of Angel.

After the arrival of Angel, we made our way to the Trafford Centre for the day and dined at Baek-Do. Everything was such a laugh, so much I hope the same will happen when GreatEiei pays me and my boyfriend a visit, and I would be happy if he will be able to come to visit me with the girl of his dream hand in hand together...

Anyway, I've been longing for magazines that I couldn't download, especially the Taiwanese Choc magazine and the recent of fashion and beauty that I used to read weekly.

I literally found 2 same makeup looks in 2 different magazines with the similar methods and shades of eyeshadows. I am totally inspired and intended to do a video about this makeup to combine the techniques of both magazines together!- What do you think?!

Oh, I really have to tell you guys this funny story about waiting for Angel and the argument I had with boyfriend- as Angel arrived 4 hours later than Teresa during their visit, my boyfriend suggested that Angel should take the taxi to our apartment, and so I gave our apartment address to Angel via SMS. However, during my sms to Angel, my boyfriend and I were argued about whether to give her our apartment unit number or not...

Boyfriend: Since she's taking a cab to ours, I don't think it's necessary to give her our apartment unit number

Me: Well, I think it's ok to give her, cuz I think it's better to quote in case the concierge catches her and start questioning...

Boyfriend: But all the taxi driver needs is the building name, street name and postcode... We will go down to collect her!!

Then after an hour of waiting, Angel still didn't turn up and ended up calling us that the taxi man won't take her cuz he told her it's only 15 mins walk, however it literally took more than that since walking to the building is not particularly easy when the pizza-man sometimes had problems finding our building in the past. Another half an hour later, she called us and told us she got in the building and told us to open the door for her when she doesn't have the electronic tag to pass the entrance, to reach elevator and finally reaching the residential units. However, we finally told her that she probably got on to the wrong unit since she was actually on the top floor of the building... and the 3 of us were yelling across the building towards Angel telling to go downstairs for our unit again....

Well, OK, it seemed Angel was happy with the mistake she made as she got into the building by following this hot guy while he was getting in the building by the electronic tag, and he was so nice that he actually opened every door with his electronic tag for Angel before he left.... and Angel told us that she really assumed that the street number on the address was our unit number instead... LOL...

Love Package from GraciousGlamours & makeup look

I could've updated about this blog entry this straight away since that I would like to highlight... Well, it was Friday the 13th (of this month) that I have received the love package from GraciousGlamours... why am I so surprised to get this package?- Friday the 13th is known as the most unlucky day ever for anyone, however, I felt this friday 13th is definitely the most lucky one of my life so far as to receiving such a lovely package....Let's get on with it!

Some candies that my boyfriend and I finished ages ago.. LOL

I have to particularly mention this candy since it's the favourite of me and my boyfriend out of the package...

**Highlight of the package**

Unfortunately that I don't use IPhone 4, but just use 3GS that it doesn't fit, but I still appreciate this IPhone Case

For the past 2-3 weeks while waiting for this love package, my boyfriend had been asking me a few times if GraciousGlamours had sent the package ever since she said bought the Kuromi case, lol, however, this package is full of surprises! <3

I absolutely love this blusher!!

Well except for all these lovely packages, I've also made a video in return in relations to what Grace got me and how much we share between each other.... Thank you so much for everything, Grace! Thanks so much for being the one that I can confide in and the one to share girlie secrets together, you have been the one who understands my feelings culturally and emotionally....

OOTD: 4th May- Watching Beastly... Which pair of shorts to pick?!

OK first of all, Beastly is the movie I went to watch! Alex Pettyfer is HOT <3

Well, OK, I still had no idea to wear which pair of shorts to match with the blue floral chiffon top.... so lucky that I have whatsapp that I can ask 3 beauty gurus Exquisitejenn, GraciousGlamours n cosmeticcupcake for advice n their thoughts... Sorry if I had to rush them to reply ASAP since it was like a last minute question...

Almost Used Up Products: Episode 1 (April 2011)

Well, OK, this is the first time I filmed a video on "almost finished off products" to see if anyone would like to see the reviews on those products, and how long it takes me to finish off something... Sorry if it's disgusting to say so that almost everything I use is way too far from the expiry date that it can be maintained, but to me, it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't rot my skin or smell funny.

This Beautemaker Multi-Purpose Super Moisturising BB Cream was a free gift from from the makeup bible of the Taiwanese makeup artist Kevin....I did talk about the books in one of my previous videos

OMG, I bet u all hv no idea how long I used this Dior lip thing for: Its abt 3 years 4 years I've used it, but the other side that's fully filled is only been filled up recently....

This is the Illamasqua Synth eyeshadow I been using since Aug last year.... Normally being used as cheek highlighter or blusher

Swap with Gwen: Gwen was the first guru that I done the swap with without fail since we both already got each other's first package since mid-March that I would take that the first package would be birthday presents for each other (belated for me, but advanced for her). Instead of uploading the video right now, I would love to show the ones in the beauty-blogging world of what Gwen got me so far.... (Hopefully, real soon, I can also embed what I got Gwen instead of just photos from my facebook or something)

From Gwen's package 1, here's what she got me.... Don't worry, although not really alot to show, I still love what she got me overall... and Chinese people have a saying: "Just enough to show some love" (小小心意,不成敬意)...

Swap with Lynn: Just a few days after receiving Gwen's package, i have received Lynn's package as well, although this is just package 1, I will still share about the things she got me so far... and honestly, it's the accessories in the package that really impressed me alot...

Don't get deceived from the way I took this photo: it's a huggable size for me in real life, lol

The pearl necklace is just what I expected since I believe it will be a perfect accessory to the fashion tribute of Audrey Hepburn.

I have actually used the nail polish a few times already, but since I only just trimmed my nails recently, will need the time to wait for it to grow back before I literally can show how I used this particular nail polish...

A story behind a makeup look

The makeup look itself is done by love and dedications to those around me in the beauty community and those that I find that are important in my life- There are the 2 sides of me: Being "Kuromi" and Being "My Melody", why is that? I am a Kuromi when it comes to the cheeky side of me and whenever I am not acting like a real lady, especially in front of the opposite sex that I am never so lady-like... However, I am really a girly girl when I am in front of friends of the same sex while I share my thoughts on fashion and makeup...

The story behind this makeup look started off with people that inspired me lately: I can't really miss out Strawbeefull, Exquisitejenn, Matt and GreatEiei... The reason why that I would mention

Strawbeefull: I'm wearing the bracelet she made me

Exquisitejenn: I'm using a few items that she got me for this makeup look

Matt: He's been an inpiration to me over what we been through the 4 years something we known each other...

GreatEiei: Can't say more than being best friends and the feelings I have deep inside

Anyway, I hope I won't scare off anyone while I don't have any makeup on at the start of the video as to show that although I do claim to be the guardian angel those I care about/those who care about me, I'm no angel in my appearence or a perfect girl to be called someone's angel or girly enough to give opposite sex an impression that I am a good good girly girl....

Besides the inspirations from Matt, I always want to show all the ability I can how much I can be there for my viewers who took time to watch my videos and who took time to let me know their thoughts and needs.

"I will be the guardian angel that offers you my shoulder when you feel depressed, have my ears ready when u need a listener and will offer you a hug when you feel lonely."- This is NOT just a video being done for Matt, Strawbeefull, GreatEiei and exquisitejenn, but a message to all of you that I wish YOU will count on me anytime...

I think a makeup look like is probably not as sentimental something that comes out like newapplearial who was famous for her makeup for breakup, but within my own field of sensitivties, I hope it's easy to tell this makeup look has lots of love, warmth and empathies within..... Ever since I have started the conversation with GreatEiei from youtube, I think it's no longer a difference of skin care whether you are male or female but raising awareness in what you need and the methods you may need to take not of... My boyfriend offered to let me read the issues I missed out from my favourite magazine (Choc 恰女生) which I would like to highlight in particular when it comes to the different types of sensitive skins... so please complete this quiz with translations provided by me

Ask yourself and tick the following questions are facts to your skin

1) Sensitive reactions with forms of contacts
-Do you feel your skin sting or burn after using a certain type of makeup products?
-Do you often avoid using certain products to avoid allergy reactions?
-Does your skin feel uncomfortable when you are wearing fluffy items or wool-made turtle necks?

2) Veins/Nerves Sensitive Reactions
-Do you have thin layered skin that made your veins look obvious?
-Does your skin sting or feels like burning when you take spicy food or alcohol?
-Does your skin sting or feels like burning when you are under pressure or paranoid?

3) Sensitive Atopic Dermatitis
-Do you have family members that have the symptons of sensitive atopic dermatitis?

Other tips for sensitive skin people:

1) Stay from the causes which were mentioned before such as taking off the things that are the causations to allergy reactions

2) Soothing: Like the model is holding water spray- water spray would be a helpful must-have item inside your bag as to cool down sun-burns from the harmful UV and dehydration...

3) More moisturising treatments in the skin care routine

4) Minimize frictions: This is closely related to skin cleansing- Try not to overdone the frequency of cleansing to your delicate skin or scrub hard.... Dry your face with a towel/tissue pressing against your face.

5) Avoid exfoliating as this may weaken the surface of your skin as well as damaging the cells inside that were meant to be protection inside which leads to serious damages to your face.

6) Plenty of rest, avoid alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and spicy food as much as possible. Drink plenty of water

7) Seek for medical attentions of specialists if necessary

8) Wear as much sun protections as you can such as wearing sunscreen to protect your skin from the harmful UV, wear light/sheer long sleeves or carry an umbrella to cover yourself.

This was actually a special blog entry for GreatEiei who's more than just being a loyal viewer to my videos or being a best friend.... He also became someone that I care about like I just suddenly found myself a younger brother (although just younger by months).... I really look forward to the day I will get to meet him when he comes to UK and become real life good friends soon..... For now, it's like the thing I always say about not seeing my family for a long time as the relationship being "Far in distance, yet closer in our hearts".... but with GreatEiei, I hope it will be closer in distance and closer in hearts too.... 4) Year 11 Open Day: These were the art work done with my own hands... n with a few at the back that I used to apply scholarship for SMH,bt FAILED :(

5) Well, age 17, turning 18. This photo was taken when my boyfriend and I started our relationship together.... we are still together.... We are together for 7 years something right now <3

6) This is my best friend Teresa- we met through having friends in between.... She was my best friend since day 1, and I still feel the same about her... (Looking forward to see her when she comes to UK in June)

7) There's a story behind this photo between me and this girl (Britney): She was my best friend, now a long lost best friend.... but really throughout the time we hanged out, she really was like a sister to me, an older sister with the way she thinks and being such a damn-smart-ass and she's always there to give me the guidelines whenever I felt lost.... but she's also a younger sister to me at times as I am actually older than her by age and if those who seen Britney and I hang-out together at the time, you'll see how much I take care of her like she's my younger sis. Though we lost contact or she might've forgotten me by now, I will always remember everything that's so memorable between us.... PS. Me aged 20, Britney aged 19. The time I literally started having some makeup and started wearing makeup

8) This might seem like a photo of the recent years, but again, it was a photo of happy times- with my training coach and my partner (Hoby) in Cathay Pacific.... This training coach was an awesome guy, such a fun and kind-hearted guy... I loved the training I had in Cathay Pacific cuz it's a memory I had with people who are huggable and fun! Though the solution of the photo sucks usiing N73... but this is a perfect photo that's always staying in my heart! (Age 21)

A blog entry to show some love to Japan (sweetkuromi's moment of LIVES)

Dear all,
As you all know about the serious earthquake in Japan (11th March 2011), I would like to do a blog entry to show some of my love for Japan first of all. From manwomanfilm's latest clip, she is definitely a witness within the beauty community and her viewers about the current situation in Japan for all the factors she has. (Please watch the video)

It is not really in a matter of being a developed country or a poor country but with everything the people in their country have lost is more than just having to start from zero until it's all there again.... but a matter of lives being lost, connections and contacts with friends and family were lost to be a heart-breaking incident to ANYONE in the world....

Like Eliza's blog entry says, this is something more important than just buying something from MAC or a dress from Topshop. Though I have titled my blog to be moment of beauty, fashion & LIFE... But this time, as to show my love to the ones who suffer, I will spell LIFE to LIVES as the reason to wish that the volunteers, doctors and nurses will rescue as many LIVES as possible in Japan! and I hope those who lost contacts with their friends and families in Japan will soon reunite with each other as a final result.

Although I couldn't put in further words to show my love, I hope my love to Japan and other affected areas will still be forwarded by this moment of LIVES.

First makeup model in 2011

About Eva:
Eva is a friend I have met on Chinese New Year, a new partner of my boyfriend's university friend, Sam. During Chinese New Year, we have gathered up together at another friend's house which made the 6 of us celebrating Chinese New Year as well as the time I have received my panda hat from Kloe. Throughout the evening, we are the 3 girls who had a long conversation going through skin-care/makeup tricks that will benefit ourselves in our own times.

Behind the scene
The next day, my boyfriend and I were to meet up with Sam and Eva as they will be shopping and dropping stuff at our apartment. As I was getting ready, I entertained Eva with the Taiwanese magazine Queen (女人我最大), the makeup look that I was trying to do in the video... It's also the makeup look that Eva told me that she would like to try out which gave me the opportunity to ask her if she can be my makeup model.

Throughout the video, I made sure that she gets the chance to see every detail of what I've done and made sure every word of her suggestions were taken in to do it that interacts between the both of us.

Camera Shy but yet Encouraging
In the video, you will see that I was trying to ask her questions with what she feels-in fact I wanted her friendly criticisms more than making her feeling embarrassed. After the video was done, she kept saying "I mean it, your makeup skills are not bad!" I am sorry if I didn't notice her in advance about what I will ask her to allow her the chance to speak out her thoughts more, but with Eva's interactions to the makeup look, my thoughts to that is her interactions were very encouraging inside-out!! There are still some gaps that I was trying to fill afterwards, so I also did the makeup look myself as I was trying to show what it'll be like with a Peach tone lip color with the makeup look and how it's been compared if sticking with using a magenta/fuchsia pink lipstick. Obviously, the difference would be distinguished between a daytime and night time makeup look.

Best Buddies in the Beauty Community of Year 2011 & Thoughts

I think it's almost a year ever since I blogged about making great friends in the beauty community of both youtube and this blogspot here! I do appreciate the different kinds of support by all of you and I bet you all know who you are that I would particularly bare in mind for those who should be appreciated :) Most of you who were there for me from 2009 and throughout 2010 are great, I have already mentioned a bunch beauty gurus that are great friends every so often in 2010. So how about 2011?! Well, it's only March, but I better mention a few of you who I haven't mentioned much since some of you been there for me since 2010, lol.

This gorgeous girl has an awesome dressing sense and has a really pretty blog which represents her sweet personality so well! Although it's only through blog that we catch up with each other, I wouldn't leave her out of the list in best buddies list in the beauty community no matter that!

I totally love her to bits, especially we have something in common as to being the year of tiger and both of us are pisces chics!!! I kind of have a feeling that I am fixing the both of them to become good friends one day as it's such a coincedence that I am currently on swaps with both of them at the same time, lol... But yeh, I'm pretty much enjoying the shopping for the both of them as Lynn is very much like me being not so fussy and with Gwen that's I believe is not hard to please as long as we give each other the right guidance of what we wanted as swap items... But we are good friends in terms of nowadays that we are NOT ONLY chatting away on twitter, in fact, whatsapping each other is what made our friendship so real! Although I haven't known Lynn for a long time, I am able to trust her for sharing the same voice of being a youtube agony aunty together... She's doing well and seemed that she has all the directions and guidelines for her viewers which I hope I can do the same from now on ;)

Grace

A recent sweet heart- I just felt that we have so much in common as again of being in the year of tiger... and I love the fact that Grace is a well-known beauty guru but yet never snobby to someone small like me... Although I have just known her somewhere less than a month still, she seemed warm and supportive to people around her no matter what which makes her worth being in this besties list!

Thoughts: Not sure if I should include these so far, I couldn't have agreed with Adeline's blog entry that there are the nicest beauty bloggers in the world, but yet some people who are selfish enough to get what they want regardless of what we have invested to share the same things we all like. I did once mention that I was on a swap, but no one really asked about what happened to my unlucky first swap after I have got my lost package back since December 2010. Although comparing with what my loss is, it's probably down to worthless/nothing since I sent one small package and the other one lost/returned package stayed unsent.... in a way of trust and emotions, I am very disappointed after my hard work of care and defence to someone I felt that was one of my closest friends..... But yeh, this is basically what happened to my REAL UNLUCKY swap and what has been another difference to what changed within my beauty community

Before this update gets way too old, I'm gotta share this update and my birthday! OK, I would've made this update like ages ago, but I did intend to wait for other packages of what other gurus sent me before I filmed the videos, since Exquisitejenn got me ALOT of things which were to thank me for the birthday presents that I got her last year, I expect the ramble on video will take forever, so I will blog about it here.

As you all know, I have talked about exquisitejenn like she's one of my best friends in the youtube beauty community.... so it's my chance to blog about what she got me and I love everything she got me so far....

So far, I have opened the purple/plum palette of Wet & Wild, and also the Hard Candy Lilac eyeshadow thingy...

Sorry that I have retook the photo of the Hard Candy blusher/eyeshadow bake thingy by accident, I still haven't opened it yet, but I think I am likely to look forward to use this product...

PS. I will still be waiting for Strawbeefull (Jess) to come round so that she will get to have fun with experimenting with those makeup that exquisitejenn got me.... I hope this day will come

There are 2 other lovely makeup bags that's in the package that I love alot, but yes, I will show it in the video about my birthday trip to London and along with the outfit that I wore too! The only reason I would complain that exquisitejenn got me too much stuff is that she shouldn't have sent me that much stuff when I only got her very little during last year, makes me feel bad. But don't worry, I am not a fussy person when it comes to people buying me presents really... (especially people who knows me really well will get to hear me saying it "I'm not fussy at all, u don't have to get me too many things")

Then for the birthday likewise, I went to London with my boyfriend, and attended to a flight attendant interview which took place near Stansted Airport. I have filmed the video on what I wore for my birthday as well as I hope you guys will like the photos my outfit for my birthday

Outfit for my birthday: 23rd Feb. 2011

It was actually the friend of my boyfriend's Kloe who got me this panda hat from taobao, I will put that as annotation on my video too...

24th Feb- Went to the flight attendant interview near Stansted Airport, met a few really nice candidates, and with my first time meeting an "air-head" flight attendant whom showed off his 2 years experience with the airline EasyJet which literally pissed alot of candidates off... Well, honestly, I have friends who are flight attendants for whatever the hell airlines: Cathay Pacific, DragonAir, Finnair... and I personally even used to work as a ground staff for Cathay Pacific, but of course, staying humble and have a laugh with other candidates who were around me would be the thing that made everyone smile including myself which is something I would want for my birthday trip in the end.

As far as this update goes, to those who might be interested in knowing about how my interview went: Reject was the result, but I realize this airline wouldn't be the one that I want to work for since they have nothing to guarantee the employees or to ensure they have all the basic benefits so far. I am sorry I am unable to disclose further with the name of the airline, however, as a warning to those who are job-seeking or with the contract signing stage: Think twice before you sign something. There are always lots of gaps and traps in between... PS. I hope some of you will understand I don't mean this airline is deceiving myself or any candidate, I am just stating that this is a tip for those who are job-seeking and I am making sure that everyone has a clear-mind of what they are doing!

The title of "Moment's of fashion, beauty and life" will stay still as thanks to MissKeiKei for her really pretty banner for me just on top of the blog entries!! I guess MissKeikei didn't realize it was my birthday on Wednesday and it was on 26th Feb that I received by email.... so although it's just a belated birthday present, MissKeikei still gave me the best belated birthday present so far....

A bad online shopping experience

OK, I found that this shop had a pretty good range of product line that I would like to buy and refill the skin care products that I ran out of soon as well as the type of false lashes that I've always been wanting to try so far, so I have placed an order for 3 items that I wish to use
1) a pair of false lashes
2) a Taiwanese brand moisturizer
3) citron exfoliating gel

OK, the scenario started after I've settled my payment with the shop... here comes the first email of notification:

Email 1: the administrator tells me that the eyelashes I've ordered will take a week to order, so the dispatch is likely to be delayed

Email 2: I replied to ask if they can let me know if my order can reach me by 23rd Feb (my birthday), however what their reply is still the same. They have informed me the source of contact for further enquiries, however, all they gave was QQ which I don't have, as well as the fact that I added their msn accounts BUT NEVER SEE THEM ONLINE!

So far as fair enough that I left them a week to place their order for my lashes.... I was only emailing the administrator just to find out the process of my order....

Email 3 started to tick me off (please refer to my highlight and translation): OK, the good news the administrator informed me was fair enough...

BUT the highlight: the moisturizer I have ordered is out of stock and they recommend another product to replace the moisturizer I ordered originally!

To explain why I am totally pissed off and ticked off that I MUST blog and release how my frustration:

Fine! IF they let me know this moisturizer I ordered was out of stock on the same timing as the lashes I've ordered, I would accept the situation with friendliness...but it's been a whole GOD DAMN a week something late they inform me the situation about one of the ordered items to be out-of-stock!

Other factors that brought my anger up too:

the website wasn't anything like ELF to block off the quantity section if they are out of stock

Expecting the refund of the moisturizer I cancelled straight-away

Email 4: WTF, I have to wait for the next day for the refund?! I am angry enough that I want that particular amount back straight away, don't care if it's just £1 or £1000!!!!

I seriously would wanna make a video to express how ticked-off I am at the moment! I am NOT happy at all!

Wow, I know that I been MIA for a long long while... I hope everyone been well and picked up enough money for Chinese New Year... and I guess I really should talk about updates when I didn't update my blog...
I've had hair-cut on 31st Jan 2011, I can say it's not much difference from my previous haircut but for those who can tell the difference, hope you will like the new haircut for sure

(There will be a video about it after I've uploaded the Part 3 of the Valentine's Day Special)

I have made Valentine's Day special for both singles and couples talking about celebs I want to date and the outfits to wear for singles to hangout and outfits for those going out to dates.

The make up is originally an inspiration by a renren.com user's update and I was so fascinated with this simple but yet a nice contrast done on the eyeshadows. I agree that pink and brown can't go together in clothes but if it's make up, I guess many of us proved the point that pink & brown can go well to make your eyes look great without a doubt.... I know my make up look is probably not as great as the original user's make up look, however, I hope my video can still balance the bads and goods about the outcome of this look :)

Last but not the least, I went to IMATS and met Pursebuzz of a 5 minutes glance and bought things with great bargains... <3 Here's the video about the IMATS, enjoy and stay tuned with the video I will soon film based on the February Hauls/Presents....

New Discovery: Cat Eyes of different styles

These looks were inspired by Choc magazine, my favourite magazine and yes, I am going to show you all the make up looks I've experimented just in the same order as the magazine did... as well as my video that I will display which I've mainly intended in showing you the listed products I've used. This blog is just going to be based on my feelings about each of these looks

Look 1: A naughty vintage look-This first one is common and yet simple, so I thought I won't waste time to do the tutorial exactly. This look is definitely wearable most times since it's subtle. But being the naughty cat will depend on the outfit decide to wear- To achieve that naughty style, something like a dotty top or dress might look good with being a naughty cat! meow!

Look 2: The sweet & innocent cat eyes
This is my least favourite one so far, all I can say is- disastrous experiment! couldn't blend it like the model did :( It wouldn't be worth doing the tutorial. Although I personally think it doesn't suit myself, maybe it will suit some of u who loves cat eyes make up looks, good luck!

Look 3: My favourite out of the 4 (The flirty cat eyes)
The special part about this look is the patchy effect on the lower lashes!! Although I couldn't do the patch effect well enough, I will continue to achieve the look much better in the future.... Please continue the video for the make up tutorial & the last look, I hope you will like this look as much as I'm in love with it. In the make up tutorial for this look, I have used a different colour from blue, all because I want to show the belief different colors such as brown, purple and grey will look great too! The color I decide to use would be suitable for those might like to play it safe...

Other than using blue eyeliner combining with pink eyeshadow, here are the alternatives I would suggest for this flirty cat eyes look:
1) MAC Beautiful Iris as eyeshadow on lids (top of Bobbi Brown Rich Brown) + Grey of the Japanese eyeshadow palette (right)
2) Jade Green with Grey on the same palette or with Bobbi Brown Rich Brown
3) Apply Pink Freeze like I've used in the video along with ELF purple eyeliner cream
4) Pink Freeze as eyeshadow on eyelid and combine with grey

Look 4: How Exotic?
It's the common one like the 1st cat eyes I've done, but in fact, it's combination of grey and green that's attractive so far, however, again, like the 2nd look, it just simply doesn't suit my eye shape enough.... how I wish Sharon (zizzee, one of my blogtv BFF) can be my make up models for these make up looks?!

Maybe hopefully, she can be my make up models for being Twiggy or the lace make up look I intend to do.... She'll be my excellent make up model for her Caucasian facial features as she has the blue eyes and the shape I need for those make up looks that probably don't suit the flat eyes I have...

Final interview-Done

I really don't know if I did well or not... just kind of felt I might screwed it up again since there are things that I find it hard to answer?!.... the Human Resources staff and the Performance manager both interviewed me and asked about 20 questions but there are only 3 in particular that I answered it in the most adequate way.... I know I was meant to prove to them my experiences were very closely related to why I'll do great for the job... however... hmm... I won't be sharing all 20 questions and my answers- maybe just a few of what I feel I may answered the best:

-Describe the time where you have showed sympathy and empathy.

I didn't learn the precise ways until I get to work in my last job, however, I'm not sure if this counts for the time I have worked in Cathay Pacific as I was carrying out the task of looking for the missing passengers of a flight to TPE, and it was where an 8-year old girl who was a passenger taking Qantas to Brisbane approached me in tears because she lost her parents... I have asked her if she knows which flight she's taking and asked her to stay with me until my final report to my duty supervisor was done that I would take her to her boarding gate to check there was a sign of her parents.... And then I reported the situation to the supervisor for the flight to see if it's possible to take care of the young girl.... however, very soon, the parents turned up and thanked me for accompanying the girl

-Describe the situation where someone has replied on you completely:

Let me think: I think it would be the time where the flight to Johanesburg had an aircraft change that some passengers had to be down-graded and there was an arrangement where I was sent to the transfer desk to wait for the money, the total quoted that I was expected to take back to airside office was about 20000GBP as a total to refund.... during that time, I waited for 3 hours for the cash to be enclosed.... I had no one to replace me and I was told that I have to wait until the cash was counted correct... throughout the time, I had to be careful with handling the trust I earned because it's all related to what airlines do to compensate to angry passengers and the amount became a crucial issue that's certainly bigger than just a 10pound note that was dropped on the floor that has to be taken seriously.

-What kind of positive feedbacks and negative feedbacks do you hear people say about you?

The positive feedbacks I always hear which helps me to support other team-workers and the passengers who feel the need of someone to make their days is acting as an ice-breaker, this positive feedback has also been heard by my friends outside work as an icebreaker to break down the communication barrier, so it shows no one is alone when I make sure people will have attention equally. The negative feedback would likely to be coming from my boyfriend who I live with for now as he thinks I'm very impatient with him because I care about what I can do to improve efficiency in results and i really don't like people doing things to delay my expected time of finishing something or the result of it

Another question: not sure, but it sounds quite adequate in some terms?!
-Describe the time you have done something that's extensively beyond your tasks:
I was intending to print off some documents at the boarding gate desk as the printer's out of service in the office. A passenger at the boarding gate who was from the flight standing by at the boarding gate approached me with the enquiry if it's possible to upgrade his mother, one of the wheelchair passengers to business class for more comfort and convenience. I've took down the details of the passengers and the wheelchair passenger for the service leader to follow up, if not, at least inform the passengers the possible alternatives. Although I had other duty tasks to carry out which didn't leave me enough time to assist the passengers fully, I have reassured the wheelchair lady approaching her by telling her I have left the details the staff for the flight to follow up the needs and enquiries, tell anyone if they need anything "Because we are always here to help"

I actually felt like I haven't done well like the first interview.... *sigh* don't know why.... I do feel that those questions were a little more challenge than the other interviews I have faced in the past.... but maybe after, I might not be good enough to fulfill myself to achieve being a flight attendant for any airline?!

Although I should've kept my resolutions discreet, well, I guess no harm in sharing?! For 2011 resolutions to lead myself to be a better person, a happier and healthier person....

1) The final interview of the flight attendant post I have applied is coming in less than a week's time now, I'm soooo nervous!

2) Sorry, I shouldn't mention this one but this is a crucial fact that I think people should know if they get to the level that they know my name is that I'm a very easy-going person that won't mind it all, but it doesn't mean that I'm always comfortable with almost everything... I'm very forgiving and willing to give people another chance because we are all human beings who make mistakes BUT I will take back all the privileges I once offered if I was taken for granted

3) I used to work in the airline in Hong Kong... hehe, let me show u all this cute photo of me with my paw cushions, I used to wished that I could take the cushions to work, lol

4) My favourite Japanese Drama is Attention Please, which is a drama about flight attendant trainings in Japan Airline.

5) My boyfriend and I dated for 7 years now, the day that we started together was 25th Dec 2003.

6) I'm totally obsessed with Kuromi stuff! My most wanted things of Kuromi at the moment are Kuromi ear-muffs and passport folder.

I will explain the make up & fashion tribute for holiday glam as simple as I can since the full demonstration is expected to be done in the youtube video uploaded.... I have done 2 make up looks and settled 2 groups of outfits ready for the subtle make up look & a more dramatic make up look to match along... So far, this is the way I interpreted the 1st make up look: shimmery in subtleness, the key colors needed for the eyes are "dark brown, hazel and gold" which is inspired by the latest copy of Choc, my favourite magazine, although the magazine has described the look as a seductive night look, I personally would like to take it as something subtle and use this look to suggest that smart-casual, OL party outfits or those who are expecting to something to wear for Christmas gatherings...

Here are the outfits I have suggested to go along with this make up look

Start with this leopard bodysuit and high-waist skirt, they are actually separate items but I was just doing the mix & match, pretty much something that I believe OLs would wear attending to Xmas gatherings or even for the sake of going to work in Winter in general... it's worth going for cuz u can always wear it anytime, anywhere and of course most importantly u can wear it more than once that u wont waste money

This is a cute smart casual jumpsuit, u will definitely see that I'm NOT always too girly to be truly, in fact, going for the dandy/boyfriend style is what I've been working on as well! I would recommend it to girls of younger age, especially girls whom prefer less girly clothes... it's one of the best outfit I would list as the best to the holiday glams

hmm... depends on how simple u want urself to be! if ur the wild bt casual chic that wears a stylish top with , go for a top that has some special designs, this one im wearing is a gold metal halter neck one, believe me, I'm not wearing it juz because I found nothing interesting in the shop, I will explain the it in the video...

Wanna stay in the low profile or just expecting family gatherings? No problem- this top is actually a 2 in 1 top... in the video u will see tht I made it an off shoulder top in someways that the style won't be that boring, and it's a top u can do whatever u like with it... if ur expecting a little more effort with wearing this top, a thin belt around the waist would be suggested ;)

The main eyeshadow color combinations were Charcoal Grey/Gold/Purple

As for the outfits ready for the evenings, Christmas balls or a glittery celebration, here are the outfits I suggested here to go with more dramatic make up!

If u decide to have the dramatic make up more concentrated, look for a top that's impressive for the holiday glam with skinny jeans, this is a black based with some glitter/shimmery type of top! the rhinestone on the neck and the dramatic make up will save ur stress from looking for accessories. I'm the type of person who's always too lazy for the accessories, if ur the same kind of person as me, then this top is definitely something u can go for

My favourite dress! I love the ruffles & the design overall... not much to say, bt I hope it goes down to a dirty cheap price when Xmas sales approaches so I can buy it, muhahahaha

Amanda Seyfried make up looks

It was some time ago again that I have received a request from Tiffany and her friends that they would like to see a make up look inspired by Amanda Seyfried, since I have the typical Asian facial features, another research is made for some time as well as due to moving house, I would like to apologize sincerely for the times she has waited, hopefully the outcomes and the makes of this video won't disappoint her at all... Again, I have made this Amanda Seyfried make up look video into 2 versions- Hollywood look on Dear John Premiere and Oscars look by Chanel.

As Amanda Seyfried does not go on to the heavy make up looks, I hope this is the video that will bring out the message that "Less Is More for the most expensive, glamorous-classy look"

Eyes:

Begin by waterlining the upper and lower rims of your lids with waterproof black eyeliner.
Then, apply a pure silver eye shadow from your lash line to your lid's crease.
Use a nude (or, for a more dramatic take, shimmering white eyeliner) to line under your eyes and in the inner vs.
Apply coats of black lengthening mascara to both upper and lower lashes.

Lips and Cheeks:

Apply a liquid luminizer to the apples of your cheeks and all along the tops of your cheekbones to create more definition, then sweep a peachy-pink powder blush across the apples of your cheeks.
For your lips, begin by filling them in with a nude lip pencil, then go over with a semisheer peach lipstick and apply dots of clear lip gloss to your cupid's bow and the center of your bottom lip.

Line your lids with a black eye pencil and then dust a pink-toned copper all the way around. Next, dust a shimmery beige on your upper lids from the crease up to the browbone. Then smudge a bit of dark gray shadow on the outer corner on the bottom and top, blending into the crease on the upper lid for shading.

However, I personally would recommend matte/lighter bronzers for that glowing looking skin just like Amanda Seyfried on this 2nd look and for the lips, she would tend to stick around the peachy tones to suit her glamourous blue eyes

Things to share from my flight attendant interview

So what I have been up to so far? Besides the 1 Year Anniversary for my youtube, I also attended to a flight attendant interview on 27th Nov 2010. However, the interview started off as group discussion which I think I probably screwed myself up completely. After the height measurement bit, we were split into small groups of 4-5 people as small conversation group. Here are the questions that my examiners would like us to discuss and I like to hear your thoughts about the way answered them (but with a less prepared and a more nerve wrecking version of it).....
1) What do you see as being a flight attendant?
Other candidates: I see it as a flexible job that you can go travelling, you can see all the advantages such as meeting different people all over the world.... etc....
Me: The way I see it is that it is a different job that you may need to sacrifice your original social life, less time for the closer ones and especially you may need to cancel Valentine's Day that you probably need to be prepared for these negativities. But I believe there are always both good and bads about the position is because it's probably there are always people out there who have no idea flight attendants take safety as number priority when pax complains about the aircraft's too small... etc...
2) Please elaborate the related concern that a flight attendant may have?
Other candidates: (1 mentioned)- There's no worries about it because I do not need to concern about the hold-backs as I am single and have a great family who are supportive to what I am doing. I would see it as a sacrifice that's worthwhile if I get to go travelling elsewhere different for Christmas or the Summer. (other mentions similar things except: flight attendant has multi-occupations for the inflight service being the cleaner, nanny, nurse and the waiters...etc)
Me: I would agree with such and such mentioned the sacrifice is worth it, I would imagine myself being the one enjoying what I am doing because I get to meet different people everytime I get to fly, I get to hear different needs and comments from passengers which are the best things in the job that entertains me the most!! I think I am all prepared for the job position as I tend to spend more time doing chores at home and made more preparations by stop complaining this and that are dirty...etc. I have the objective that motivates me, that would be to be able to have all the chances to take care of people I care about and those who care about me, I would mean it as people that I care about would be the passengers and those who care about me are the people I work with.
3) How do you feel about the impression of the public from watching the TV-documenatary shows based on the airline staff?
Others: The way I feel about these TV shows are that public are only seeing the bad side of the industry that the flight attendants are just waiters and they have no ideas about the policies that flight attendants have to follow.
Me: I wouldn't see it as bad as those TV shows made it and I believe the eye of the public do have some pictures of what the flight attendants would go through, I would mention the example such as watching Attention Please this Japanese drama that I love watching, although it is just acting, I would believe the drama has gave alot of plausible scenarios that's based on tough times and good times the flight attendants went through. One of the scenes I remembered was one of the actresses was facing a practical exam with the coaching acting as an angry passenger which I would imagine this is very plausible enough to believe that it's a scenario that a member of the public is able to observe during the flying time as well as whatever the flight attendant will be facing as their tough times.

OK, in terms of outfit and hair of the day, I didn't make a video on the way I look for the interview just in case I am screwed up, but I am still happy to show you what I wore and the done hair-do.

For the bigger discussion group, damn, what a joker! The topic between 10-15 of us was design of the flight attendant uniform and the 6 reasons for considering those factors.... I contributed by the drawing the description (I once made a video about my personal design... *jaw drops on floor*), well, not sure if I contributed into a good level to perform the right team work, but I certainly was the one to try and make everyone laugh (at least?!) like as I was drawing and kind of hope it meets the descriptions they mentioned, I just waved the sketching around saying "I don't know if this is ok, but look"... and everyone just broke out and laughed like it made everyone less tensed.

strawbeefull n I were filming these videos while she was payin me a visit to my apartment as 2 things she was anticipating for: my bathroom and Wall-E. She is the luckiest youtube guru who gets to visit my apartment in person as well as giving Wall-E a big hug.

There were about 40 mini clips of videos to be editted as 1 or 2 videos, however, for the last few days before she came to visit me, we discussed the idea of wt to film for the videos together, anwayz, as she never been a make up model for me, here's her chance, as well as she's welcome to give me a make-over.... aww well, I've always had the experience of puttin make up on friends, bt it's literally my first time for the other way round.

Just a little thought about doing the make up look in the bathroom- U can tell badly how much Jess loves my bathroom n she literally suggested that the make up looks and all that shud b done in the bathroom for the best lighting ever, and the fact she loves the sliding doors so much, haha! My bedroom won't b a perfect place to do make up tutorials cuz of the lighting is rather weak in that area... so either the hot and boiling spotlight in the corridor or would it be the best to hold the make up looks in the bathroom?

Just in case u're all thinking that 7 minutes is probably a little to time-consuming for those who have slow internet, here's my explanation of likes and dislikes about myself.

small eyes- It's so important to have pretty eyes... but I don't!
flat nose and fat: (please let me have my own fair say and the frustrations which breaks me down badly): I used to get bullied at school for these 2 things, and I wud cry for days or even weeks about these 2 issues along, in fact, my thoughts on these issues would be the fact that WHAT IF one day my boyfriend dumps me and no other guys will come along to accept me just because I have flat nose and being fat?! (I am quite large for an Asian body build, and I really can't imagine I'm able to satisfy any guy with my physical assets?!)

Overall saying: People have their attractive assets which are listed as important by the majority, but I don't... so blah, NOTHING IS ATTRACTIVE GOING ON FOR THIS SWEETKUROMI AT ALL! BIG SIGH!

Before I forget to do this, I have to share this haul/presents from the ones closest to me in my life: My beloved boyfriend and my superwoman (my mum).

In the ideal of talking about who got me what and whose stuff I got first, would be my boyfriend who bought me a MAC make up set from an outlet outside Manchester during the 10 days AFTER we moved out from our previous place and BEFORE we moved into our current apartment. There were items such as

-A black liquid eyeliner

-A make up bag

-A pair of false lashes

-A Mascara

-A pot of glitter

Stuff from my mum- It was forwarded to me from my cousin who went back to Hong Kong for 2 weeks a while back. It was my mum whom asked me if I need anything from Hong Kong, and I made a small shopping list of what I needed, and here's the shopping list with photos, lol. However, I only asked my mum for a box of 10 masks for the Kuan Yuan Liang masks and my beauty masks, she got me 2 boxes of each instead, it was really thoughtful of her- I bet she was worried that I might run out of things too soon at times. Like everyone else, I do complain about my mum doing things embarrassing me in public or saying hurtful things like any parents would do, but of course, she's my beloved mum, like the song says, she's my superwoman, like Gary Cao's song, and one of the lyrics which goes with how I describe my mum "心裏唯一的superwoman沒有人能代替" (The only superwoman that no one else can replace)

OK... Sorry if I haven't been patient enough before renewing the poll, however, just that I'd know there are videos I would upload in advance. Thanks for the 3 votes first of all. However, I just decided that I'd upload this Outfit of the Day video in advance instead as it wouldn't sound too predictable of when and which videos am I uploading in the next 7-10 days?! However, I think I may be seriously running out of ideas very soon if I disclose too much, lol. So yeah, I promise that there are videos which will be uploaded, especially the requested ones that should be prioritized first. Sorry for being slow though, but it's 95% guaranteed that I will get those requested videos done. A mini research on World of Celebs' Fashion

Lately, I've been thinking about some celeb inspired outfits to entertain you all (Please leave me some time to research and shop for the right items to fulfill). However, the secret is revealed at this point that I would like to share that the two celebs that inspired me the most, maybe not for this cold season, but hopefully when the Spring/Summer comes again, there will be a video as a reference related to this blog entry....

OK, so who are the celeb I'm talkin about that's been inspiring me the most in the fashion part?! Let's talk about: Pixie Lott
Lipsy is the shop where you will most likely to find the dresses and outfits to dress like Pixie Lott, however, the budget will be out of the ideal frame of mine, so for me, I only look for things that are photos of the outfits she been wearing as well as the things that I figure out as that's nearest to the taste of hers.

Anyway, the impression of Pixie Lott overall is sexy and classy which is quite surprising and admirable for her age (She is only 19).

How about her fashion taste?
From what I saw in Lipsy and the articles I read of Pixie Lott, there are only two types that she goes for from what I can interpret:

It would be mainly blacks and the animal printed dresses that's part of Pixie Lott so far.

Another one I would talk about as an inspiration would be Brenda Song, she has always been giving me this adorable impression of her ever since day 1 I heard about her. Maybe she has this slight chubby curve same to mine?! Luckily there were articles based on how to dress like Brenda Song that may help me to look for the clothes to show the outcome from the inpsirations.

Here are the types of style that I would bare in mind:

The office lady look that the article author has mentioned, it's definitely something I would look for, as like most Hong Kong females in their 20s, smart-casual is always the style that never goes wrong anywhere you go! By all means, a chiffon top with a black pencil skirt and slim the waist with a black belt can be worn anywhere u go- Go to work wearing it, see your dream man in this outfit or the best dress to hang out with ur girlfriends.

For other kinds of elaboration, I would say that in the overall factors to dress like Brenda Song would be the bright colors she wear, regardless of the casual style she takes or the evening gown she's wearing. However, I would take that black lace detailed dresses like the examples I put here as items that caught my attention

Then, lastly shoes- like both articles said that Brenda Song loves high heels, it doesn't matter if it's open-toe shoes or is it the close-toe ones.

Fashion Video: Autumn/Winter (Behind the scene)

It's been real ages since I made a fashion video, in fact this is all because I am really fussy person and it's a certain thing that it's a MUST for me to show my viewers that's clothes I like and that it's certain that it's gotta make me look great!

Part 1- Leather Jacket & Floral Dresses- This is specially for crazy fans of floral dresses

As I wore these floral dresses for the Summer time and I believe there must people out there that would really like to have clothes that are wearable for 4 seasons throughout, so a leather jacket over the floral dress will definitely satisfy those crazy fans of florals!

Review of Eyelash Glue- More like frustrations!

Apology: Since my camera broke after the nearly 3 years of service for me, I am afraid I am unable to film review videos until a further notice. Although I may use Iphone 4 to film certain videos, the process of editting became more time consuming because of file transitions, etc. So for now, my reviews will be done by blog text instead but I hope you will all find these reviews useful. And I think the only review video I may use Iphone 4 to film and upload straight away would be the reviews of ELF products in Cantonese after a little more time of using the stuff I bought...

So for now... I will start off my 1st review by blogging based on eyelash glues.

11th October: For 2 years, I have used

This product is actually a "Double Lid Adhesive" instead of glue for false lashes, however, it works as effective either way. But since I am naturally a double lid, this product is used as the false lashes adhesive. I can say the glue holds the false lashes very still & stable all day long, however, as the consistency is white & thick, no matter how much black eyeliner I applied on top, somehow, apparently it's still lack of looking natural.

18th Oct: Just bought

22nd Oct- I was in progress making the fashion video and used the Eylure Superfix glue. I actually have alot of disappointments to state as the outcome as first, the smell reminds me of "thinner" (the smell of nail polish- I normally love the smell but I hate the strongest ever in the eyelash adhesive) and the glue stings my eye a little bit which never happened to me before. Then the next disappointment is that it doesn't stick stable enough either!

However, the only reason you would see why I would buy and use this product until it's used up is all because it's a black adhesive that it tends to make the application of false lashes more natural than ever!

Please note that I do not have any intention to defame any companies or offend anyone, everything I say is only out of experience and opinions from outcomes.

2 Looks, 1 Video- Make Up Look for Blue Eyes

Again, this was a requested video by Tiffany, my blogtv friend- she always tend to give me really good ideas of what videos, especially she gave me all the chances to learn in my own time!.... Although she only asked in a very casual manner, I am still happy to give her the best possible answer if I found a real good answer to her questions

(Anita was one of my make up models a few months ago who wore blue contact lenses for her make up look inspired by Shu Uemura's Gem Glam collection commercial.)

So far, I think there isn't alot of make up tutorials based on wearing blue contact lenses. Although I already did a look on Anita that suited her blue contact lenses nicely, Tiffany requested for the dramatic eye make up that's probably very far from Anita's make up look that I did from months ago...

Where did my ideas come from?!
OK, so where have I found the answers? My first inspirations came from one of the Vivi magazine I've got as it's got a commercial from Anna Sui on it... It seemed that Caucasians with blue eyes tend to give me the best answers to Tiffany's question- my strong belief is that to enhance and match blue eyes perfectly, purple eyeshadow is the best must-have!!

Recently, the latest copy of Elle in UK has Kate Hudson on the front cover, and it totally supported to my idea which I would like raise out, as well as the dramatic purple simply takes my breathe away!!

Is my idea true of false?!

28th Sep 2010- So now, before I decide to make a video of doing the looks for blue contact lenses, I will experience a very simply make up look and along with some photoshop to alter the color of my iris to see the actual effects.

There are 2 sorrys I have to say so because

1) I DO NOT own any blue color lenses

2) I can place the same tone of blue for the iris on these 2 photos.

Anyways, the photoshop has such an advantage of making my iris so dramatically blue, wow!! but of course, I think my make up will need to be more intensive to go with the blue eyes! But it won't be intensive until the day I've decided how I will do the look for blue contact lenses showing on video...

However, if any of you liked the look I did for this make up experiment, here are the shades of eyeshadow I have applied for my eyes!

(The Turquoise and Lilac from my Marjorie Bertagne make up palette, but I assume you can find the similar tones from the MAC make up counter or any other drugstore make up products you can find with a very good range of eyeshadow colors)

29th Sep- I actually never tried a sunset on eyes throughout the times I experienced with colors of eyeshadows, but it's always been my dream trying out on my eyes, so I can always paint the sunset on my eyes... Somehow, I had a belief that the look will go perfectly on blue eyes since my imagination tells me the eyelid is painted as the sunset sky and the blue eyes will be the sea! (How romantic!!)

It took my a real long time before I've found this Danish blogger as well as completing list of products she has used. As I never heard of the brand called Fyrinnae and took me ages to find all the tones, I made copy of all the photos I've found from google to show you the original products of this Danish blogger and invert it into my own version of make up look.

OK, here is mine, using my own bought products to create the sunset look... Again, since it's own experimenting, I only made it a light look to see the color blendings as well as photoshopping the color of my eyes to see the completed look.

For a stronger contrast, yellow will need to play a bigger role on the eye make up! But that yellow eyeshadow is still in the warehouse, so the actual yellow I am intending to use won't be appearing until the make of this video... and I will be listing the products I've used for the visual tutorial I made, so don't worry =)

11th October: Part 1 Video

Because the yellow I've used was quite subtle before I got 100% of my make up storage back, I have made my first make up look with the dramatic yellow again! And the bad news is, my digital camera of Olympus FE380 (Dec 2007-Oct 2010) is confirmed as "certified" (dead) after the almost 3-years of service for me (lol). So now, I am using the webcam of my boyfriend's to complete the make up look. I hope the presentation is decent enough.

And by the way, as I don't own a pair of blue contact lenses, you will see it's photoshop that I've done on the photos for the idea of make up look matching on the blue contact lenses

The sunset eyes came from 2 inspirations:

-The Danish blogger I've found during doing this research of looks for blue contact lenses.

-The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in Hong Kong International Airport

However, the outcome of the look seems resemble to a tropical sunset.

Part 2- Kaleidoscope Look Inspired by Anna Sui (13th October)

I would say my final look and the blendings of purple may be slightly inspired by Kate Hudson as the cover for Elle magazine. Due to the expiry of my contact lenses, I decided to make this part 2 as soon as possible. A slight thing that went wrong while I do this video was the lower lashlines- is it a mistake to line with copper? I see this as a "beautiful mistake" can be creative as a result..... a spark of a new color, maybe?! Do you think it should be a Kaleidoscope blending or is it a spectrum blending?! Anyway, a very constructive question to the look- how is the outcome of purple eyeshadow for blue contact lenses?!

I am still thinking over the narration as I have already completed writing the Cantonese narration for the 1st look, the english version is still in progress because I still have to think over good descriptions as tips for my viewers to achieve the looks in their own time.

Some updates since I moved into my new apartment

This might be a while ago now, it was back then before I moved out of Leicester and sending the packages of the mini-giveaway I was doing as well as sending Exquisitejenn her belated present. I was really lookin forward to watching videos of those who received packages from me or even the blog entries.

I just have to talk about each of them:
The first one who already made a blog entry was Ria from Greece, I am glad she won the blog giveaway when I ran it around end of Aug as I always thought there's something bonding between the both of us, especially going to Greece for one week holiday has always been my dream! Also, I thought the chance of getting to know each other also bring our destinied friendship further, so I thought it was fated for us to be great friends in real person in future and it's also the reason why she won the prizes too!! Might sound weird of me saying this is my thoughts, but somehow, I find it might be true?! (PS. I took all the usernames in a make up bag and just take out the piece of paper like so random to pick the winners for both my blog and youtube giveaway)

The 2nd person who made an entry of talking about getting packages from me is StyleSage.

One of the youtube users I know recently, although there are a few people which made really thought comments to entering my giveaway, I was really inspired by StyleSage's favourite quote "Nothing of me is original, I am the combined efforts of everyone i've ever known." Again, she was the winner of my last giveaway that I picked like so random! I hope our friendship will strengthen and goes on after this previous giveaway

I have also sent off the belated birthday present to Exquisitejenn on the same day I've sent off the giveaway prizes, but this is what I have got her

I have already mentioned her in one of my blog entries long time ago that she's the very first person that I have spoken to since my first youtube video, as well as she's one of my best friends on youtube too!

I have more updates as there are a few videos in progress as I have promised to get some requested videos done as well and I am expecting one of them should be uploaded this weekend! And there should be a fashion video uploaded hopefully before the end of this month, it's been a loooooooooooong hell god knows while since I've ever made a fashion video!

It's going to be my 1 Year since my first youtube video- I am gotta run contest giveaway on my youtube channel and facebook, if you haven't liked my facebook page yet, do it and stay tuned!
