Research on hair styling inspired by Funayama Kumiko

Recommendations:
The best way to achieve this hairdo, I think girls with medium length hair will work best.  (FYI. medium length hair is the length just settles on the shoulder or at the edgy corner of the shoulder blade).  I think my hair now is entitled to be long.

Another factor I encounter would be having the horizontally paralleled bangs/frindge... but to make it all perfect, probably works best with hair that's dyed to a lighter hazel or dark blonde tone like the Japanese girls.

Equipment wise- Although using a curl roller is rather time consuming, I do give them thumbs up for good sectioning to your hair

Criticisms & Thumbs Down:

The reason I don't do alot of hair tutorials is because that's the major field that I am not talented in doing.  I have to also remind you all that this hair styling is slightly time consuming, due to the fact I don't have a reasonable size mirror in my room (You can see from my room tour video), it took me longer than the average length of time to complete the hair styling, I'd say around an hour it took me =( I am happy to accept ANY CONSTRUCTIVE criticism with good elaboration that I can learn from.

The best apology I made to subscribers and viewers why it took me so long and that I prove to people, yes I admit I always hit uncertainties ANY TIME and ANYWHERE too! However "uncertainties make me learn".  It's not a perfect video and not everyone will enjoy this video, BUT I believe I have done my best and hopefully provided the best possible answers to anyone who asked.  Thanks for this gorgeous lady who requested this video, because I must admit that Funayama Kumiko is also my favourite model from Popteen as well!  I used to have curly hair at one point, so I believe this hair-do won't look bad on me at all!

So far, I have gathered the available hair curling products I have, such as the regular curling tongs I use

I think using a regular curling tong means that the curls would come out as a vertically parallel spiralled shape.

To describe the shape of these curls, I would use pasta to be the nearest example

(Bought from Tesco, but not yet opened...)

I think the effect of using the smallest tong along with the spikes on top is the best curl it brings out nearest to Kumiko's curls....

This is actually a requested video by a youtube user through inbox on 21st June 2010 and I do apologize for the long time she had to wait before I get her prayers answered, however, due to the promise that I will try my best, I have to look at even more pictures to take a real close look at the hair-do, the several things I would consider about the hair do would be the directions of curls the model made it into as well as imagining the available equipment to make this hair do.


From my observation of Funayama Kumiko's hairdo, her hair curls are fluffy and feathered that the hair style looks like the perms that can be done in a hair salon instead of using ironing tongs for those regular princess curls.

Random updates: Votes, Creepers and upcoming videos

Thanks to those who kept the votes coming, and there's a good outcome I can finally decide to close down the poll and tell everyone my decision.  This tells me that my viewers and subs would like to know "What pisses "sweetkuromi" off behind the computer screen" and "What are the requirements to become the dream man of "sweetkuromi"".... I wouldn't guarantee if it's a girly gossip thing just to know the type of guy I like or um..... some "paparazzi" want to follow me until I am his... (Sorry, I am taken by my lovely boyfriend)... which leads to talk about receiving a creeper's sms on sunday night saying "hey beutiful, how have you bin?!" I have already told some of my youtube friends about this story and a Taiwanese friend....

The story would start with telling you all, yes, I used to work as a door-to-door sales for the energy field... and that day I came across a client who lives 15 mins away from my home and we exchanged the number because he said he would like to get back to me for further discussions.  So, fine- I see no harm of earning a little more money from this client!


OK.... the first few sms started off very commercial explaining the contract issues and the range he should pay, etc.  Then it became another story some time very soon tho when I said I live in another metro that I need to get back to the office by that certain time... He started asking stuff like (Please refer the script as Blue=the sender, Red=Me)
"Can we hv din 2gether before u catch ur train?"
"I am afraid that's not possible, time is very tight for me"
"Can I at least meet u @ the train station later on?"
(Not replying at all)
"I dun mean 2 freak u out,juz want 2 get 2 no u cuz i find that ur quite attractive"....

The next day... he still sends me sms asking if I got back to London alright but I seriously did not text this sender back at all.... Most of my friends suggested that I should've told him straight in the bud that I have a boyfriend, but on the other hand, MY MARITAL STATUS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY CLIENTS! I only disclose my marital status to my clients if I enjoy talking to them! I am not sure if I am right about this might b the guy who sends me the prev sms on sun, please share ur thoughts or the similar struggling experience you might have had, my gorgeous =)  The last thing referring to the update of this blog is that this story was based on a real situation, and I only share it here because 97% of my blog followers r FEMALES! Please bare in mind that I am NOT a conceited whore who make up stories to hint that I am hot or to make myself better than anyone else....


PS. This is just blog update from experience and no, I don't flirt with clients for money or anything... all I did was act as professional as possible... but YES, I did make friends with a few clients who are warm and open-minded

I never thought of the reason why did I start it... I think it's cuz I want to be another beauty blogger?! lol. Just somewhere else to share beauty and fashion of my own thoughts.  Having a blog is probably another place for viewers and subs to get to know me.

Haha, that's hard one!  But u will often hear me say "um...", "In general", "You know what I mean?" in my videos

strawberries & a latest copy of Choc magazine PLEASE!!

5. What and when was your most shameful moment?
Haha, too many to list, damn! I think it's probably when I was workin in the airline as an airport ground staff.... n this one time, I had to look for the inflight manager for something, however, I got tripped over by some pax n exactly fell on this old senior flight attendant n nearly kissed him spot on........

6. Describe your personal style when it comes to fashion.
Smart-casual! Easiest to pull off by any girls!

7. What kind of food or which dishes do you like to eat the most?
Sushi, pizza (provided that one day there will be a pizza that doesnt have heavy calories)

hahaha! I think my conscience would tell me to hand it into the police! but if my conscience is switched off, I think I would spend it mad on clothes!!!!!!!
