I think it was a good thing you spoke your mind and let him know how you feel. If it was me in your shoes and I liked this guy as a friend, and he was giving me the one word replies it would tick me off as well :P~~ So if he gets mad because you express your true feelings then he isn't such a great friend, but like you said "busy" could be it, but thats no way to treat a fello friend like he is doing don't ya think? :) Hope you figure it out.
